We are one of the pioneers of the UK’s community energy sector – we have been advising and supporting communities to transition to a low-carbon and sustainable future since 2013.

Community energy is about people working together to generate electricity locally using renewable technologies that both reduce carbon emissions and save money.

We have evolved from a hub in the south-east and we now work across the country under our new name: Community Energy Pathways.

We are located in Lewes and host the Lewes Climate and Energy Hub. The hub has dedicated spaces open to the public to talk about energy and climate which we’ve developed with Lewes District Council.

We recently have been awarded the King’s Award for Sustainable Development 2025. The award is received for Community Energy Pathways’ dedication in empowering local communities to swiftly deliver locally owned, low carbon energy, reduce their energy bills and support those people left behind in the energy crisis. Read more about our work leading up to this award.
